As the Warhammer Orcs and Goblins Supplements suggest, Snotlings are considered the smallest members of the Orc and Goblin race. They may even be a sub species in their own right, however, it is a bit more fun if we consider Snotlings the youngest form of Orcs and Goblins. One day the most scrawny Snotling, may grow up into the most powerful Orc or Goblin Warlord.

Snotlings can be found practically overrunning Orc and Goblin villages. They are found in the huts, on the huts and digging through the great stinking dung heaps. They may be small and relatively weak as an individual, but they can band together and create things to aid their larger kin in battle. Snotlings will try to mimic their much larger kin and find themselves herding squiglets or riding piglets into battle.

Snotlings are also masters of the five finger discount and will snag anything they find useful. Bits of cloth for clothes, shaman's rattles, wyvern eggs...woe is he who hatches it; because he may likely find himself as a snack to the ravenous creature.

Sunstar has chosen to put fewer Snotlings on per base for a few reasons. One, having more than five models on a base seems like overkill or crowding. Two, putting on more than five models means you could be missing out on a world of opportunity for having a whole lot of fun.

There appears to be a whole load of Snotlings with so much variety that you can easily build up small mini dioramas. Add some small Squigs from Warhammer 40K or Warmaster, Warmaster boars and wolves, tiny wyverns and dragons, small lizards, rats, bats, Nurglings and whatever amuses you, you can create small scenes from units of Squig herders to a small party of passed out or drunken Snotlings.

The hallmark of a orc and goblin army is to have as much fun as you possibly can, so dare to be different, its fun!
