The Unicron trilogy Starscream figures; for the first time in about a decade Starscream had an appearance nod toward his original incarnation in 1984. Three series were released and were somewhat linked to each other. Armada and Energon more so than they are to Cybertron. Sunstar has to admit a strong personal dislike for the energon series.

The Unicron trilogy utilised a powerup gimick that either involved smaller transformers such as minicons or keys. On this page we will be displaying Armada Thundercracker as Armada Starscream as he appeared in those colours toward the end of Armada.

The Armada Starscream body-form would be found briefly revived in IDW Dark Cybertron and Windblade series.
