Transformers Prime was a much darker transformers series. It appeared to be aimed for an older audience. Here it seemed the characters were somewhat movie-like with refinements that brought their characters to be recognisable if compared to Generation One. Starscream however was still very different, and yet still very much the same. His character took a step away from the brilliant reds and sky blues and became silver and black. His insignia badge, was not purple as traditional, but red. His build was much sleeker, and his feet designs resembled high heeled boots.
The toys that represented Starscream from Transformers Prime were excellent. Their alt modes were true to the show and their transformation fairly easy.
Transformers Prime Starscream is one of the best characterisations of personality next to The Original series. And one of the best post Latta Voices being similar in nature but not an outright attempt to copy - it sounded mature.
Transformers Prime: Starscream was voiced by the talented Steve Blum. Fall of Cybertron: Starscream was voiced by Sam Riegel.
