Yet another sketch attempt...
I seem to like dead things, first sheep's skull and now my little fossil collection. Actually I have quite a few fossils kicking around, including the remains of a 486 computer.
The long fossil at the back of the lot I found at Etobicoke creek when I was about 7 or 8 years old. I found many there actually, one rock is particularly spectacular as it has hundreds of fossils in it, snails Nautiloids and more.
The fossil in the back is a Nautiloid. It is an early form of squid-like creature that resided in an oblong or a spiral shell. This fellow was in an oblong shell and is broken into three pieces, with the tip of it being encased in rock. The weird bug-like creature is my Trilobite. And the three shells are known as Brachiopods. In front of the Brachiopods are two little sharks teeth.
